The aims and objectives of the foundation are training and education, empowerment and rehabilitation of individuals with autism. Moonflower Autism Foundation is registered as a nonprofit, nonpolitical, voluntary organization with the Social Service Department under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Bangladesh Registration No: Dha-10027, Dated 19.11.2023

MOONFLOWER AUTISM FOUNDATION is pleased to announce the election of a new Executive Committee for the term 2025-2026. The newly elected Chairman is Mr. Mohammad Naquib Uddin Khan, and the Secretary is Dr. Shiraji Munira Choudhury. The full composition of the Executive Committee is as follows: • Vice Chairman: Professor Syeda Monjuara Sultana • Joint Secretary: Professor Dr. A. K. M. বিশেষ চাহিদাসম্পন্ন শিশুদের অভিভাবকদের বর্তমান অবস্থা ও করণীয় Md Mofijul Islam Executive Director MOONFLOWER AUTISM FOUNDATION www.moonflower-autism.org দূর থেকে দেখলে বোঝা যায় না। শিশুটির চোখে হয়তো হাজার রঙের স্বপ্ন নেই, হয়তো তার হাঁটা কিংবা বলা সময়ের চেয়ে ধীরে হয়, কিংবা সে একটানা এক কথাই বলে চলে বারবার। কিন্তু মা-বাবার চোখে সে পৃথিবীর সব থেকে আলাদা এক ভুবন—একটি বিশেষ শিশুর প্রতিদিনের লড়াইয়ের নাম জীবন। বাংলাদেশে বিশেষ চাহিদাসম্পন্ন শিশুদের পিতা-মাতারা এক নিষ্পেষিত বাস্তবতার সঙ্গী। রাষ্ট্র যে ভাতা দেয়, তা কেবল নামেই—মাসিক মাত্র ৮৫০ টাকা। এই অর্থ দিয়ে একটি শিশুর প্রয়োজনীয় খাবার, ওষুধ তো দূরে থাক, একটি হুইলচেয়ারের এক কোণা পর্যন্ত মেলে না। এর পাশাপাশি রয়েছে থেরাপির নামে এক ধরণের অর্থনৈতিক নির্যাতন। কিছু কেন্দ্র আছে, যেগুলোতে প্রকৃত পেশাদার থেরাপিস্টের দেখা পাওয়া যায় না। এক বা দুজন দক্ষ থেরাপিস্ট নামমাত্র কাজ করেন, আর বাকি জনবল স্বল্পশিক্ষিত, অনভিজ্ঞ—তাদের হাতে শিশুর যত্ন নয়, বরং অনিশ্চয়তার ভার তুলে দেওয়া হয়। একজন বিশেষজ্ঞ ডাক্তারের ফি ২০০০ থেকে ৩০০০ টাকা। এই ব্যয় নিয়মিত বহন...

PRESENT ACTIVITIES 1. MOONFLOWER SCHOOL FOR AUTISM: Provides special education and training to individuals with autism.
