 বাংলাদেশে বিশেষ শিক্ষার অতীত, বর্তমান ও ভবিষ্যৎ Mofijul Islam  এক্সিকিউটিভ ডিরেক্টর, MOONFLOWER AUTISM FOUNDATION   mofijul77@gmail.com mofijul@moonflower-autism.org 01841632861 (https://jamuna.tv/news/616183) বিশেষ শিক্ষা—এই শব্দ যুগলের সঙ্গে আমার আত্মিক বন্ধন বহু দিনের। কেবল পেশাগত দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে নয়, বরং মননের গভীর থেকে উৎসারিত এক দায়বোধ, এক সমাজ-মানবিক প্রতিশ্রুতি থেকেই বিশেষ শিশুদের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর আকাঙ্ক্ষা আমার মধ্যে জন্ম নিয়েছে। ২০০০ সালের শুরুর দিক থেকে আজ পর্যন্ত পেছনে তাকালে দেখতে পাই, কত আনন্দ-বেদনার পদচিহ্ন পড়ে আছে এই দীর্ঘপথে। এই লেখায় আমি সেইসব অভিজ্ঞতা ও পর্যবেক্ষণ তুলে ধরতে চাই, যাতে আমরা বুঝতে পারি—বাংলাদেশে বিশেষ শিক্ষার পথচলা কতটা গরিষ্ঠ, কতটা অসমাপ্ত এবং কতটা সম্ভাবনাময়। অতীত: আইন ছিল, প্রয়োগ ছিল না ২০০১ সাল। বাংলাদেশে প্রতিবন্ধী কল্যাণ আইন প্রণীত হয়। আইনটি ছিল এক আশাব্যঞ্জক সূচনা। অথচ সেই আশার বাস্তবায়নে দেখা যায় সীমাহীন ব্যর্থতা। আইন কাগজে-কলমে রইল, কিন্তু বাস্তবতায় তার ছায়াও পড়ল না। ২০০৭ সালে জাতিসংঘের UNCRPD চুক্তিতে স্বাক্ষরের মাধ্যমে এক নতুন ...

  বিশেষ চাহিদাসম্পন্ন শিশুদের অভিভাবকদের বর্তমান অবস্থা ও করণীয় Md Mofijul Islam Executive Director MOONFLOWER AUTISM FOUNDATION www.moonflower-autism.org   দূর থেকে দেখলে বোঝা যায় না। শিশুটির চোখে হয়তো হাজার রঙের স্বপ্ন নেই, হয়তো তার হাঁটা কিংবা বলা সময়ের চেয়ে ধীরে হয়, কিংবা সে একটানা এক কথাই বলে চলে বারবার। কিন্তু মা-বাবার চোখে সে পৃথিবীর সব থেকে আলাদা এক ভুবন—একটি বিশেষ শিশুর প্রতিদিনের লড়াইয়ের নাম জীবন। বাংলাদেশে বিশেষ চাহিদাসম্পন্ন শিশুদের পিতা-মাতারা এক নিষ্পেষিত বাস্তবতার সঙ্গী। রাষ্ট্র যে ভাতা দেয়, তা কেবল নামেই—মাসিক মাত্র ৮৫০ টাকা। এই অর্থ দিয়ে একটি শিশুর প্রয়োজনীয় খাবার, ওষুধ তো দূরে থাক, একটি হুইলচেয়ারের এক কোণা পর্যন্ত মেলে না। এর পাশাপাশি রয়েছে থেরাপির নামে এক ধরণের অর্থনৈতিক নির্যাতন। কিছু কেন্দ্র আছে, যেগুলোতে প্রকৃত পেশাদার থেরাপিস্টের দেখা পাওয়া যায় না। এক বা দুজন দক্ষ থেরাপিস্ট নামমাত্র কাজ করেন, আর বাকি জনবল স্বল্পশিক্ষিত, অনভিজ্ঞ—তাদের হাতে শিশুর যত্ন নয়, বরং অনিশ্চয়তার ভার তুলে দেওয়া হয়। একজন বিশেষজ্ঞ ডাক্তারের ফি ২০০০ থেকে ৩০০০ টাকা। এই ব্যয় নিয়মিত বহন...

  On March 8, 2025, Saturday, at 10:30 AM, Moonflower Autism Foundation celebrated its anniversary with a outstanding event. On this occasion, a discussion session and cultural program were organized at the foundation's premises.   The event began with a welcome speech by Dr. Shiraji Munira Choudhury, Secretary of the Foundation. She warmly greeted all the guests and attendees and discussed the various activities of the Foundation and its future plans. In her speech, she highlighted the importance of creating awareness about autism and detailed the Foundation's continuous work.   The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Md. The newly elected Chairman is Mr. Mohammad Naquib Uddin Khan, and the Secretary is Dr. Shiraji Munira Choudhury.
