Moonflower Autism Foundation's Anniversary Celebration

On March 8, 2025, Saturday, at 10:30 AM, Moonflower Autism Foundation celebrated its anniversary with a outstanding event. On this occasion, a discussion session and cultural program were organized at the foundation's premises.

 

The event began with a welcome speech by Dr. Shiraji Munira Choudhury, Secretary of the Foundation. She warmly greeted all the guests and attendees and discussed the various activities of the Foundation and its future plans. In her speech, she highlighted the importance of creating awareness about autism and detailed the Foundation's continuous work.


 

The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Md. Mohiuddin, the Honorable Secretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. In his speech, he highly praised the activites of Moonflower Autism Foundation and wished for its future success.

 

The Special Guest, Mr. Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of United Commercial Bank (UCB), spoke about the organization's contributions and the importance of autism awareness, expressing hope to continue supporting the Moonflower Autism Foundation in the future.


 

Additionally, the Chairman of Moonflower Autism Foundation, Mr. Nakuib Khan, in his speech, sought the cooperation of all in achieving the Foundation’s goals and objectives and discussed its future plans.


 

Other notable attendees included Mr. Abul Monsur, Mr. Md Shawkat Ali, Treasurer Syeda Shamima Akter, Advisor Mr. Rafat Faruq, Executive Member Hasina Parveen Khan, Mr. Mohammad Imrul Kabir, Executive Director Mr. Mofijul Islam, and other members, guardians, teachers, staff, and invited guests.

The event also featured cultural performances by students with autism from Moonflower Autism Foundation School, which moved the audience emotionally. Moonflower Autism Foundation has expressed its commitment to organizing more activities in the future to raise autism awareness and aid in the rehabilitation of individuals with autism
